Sailing!
A three hour return trip out into the Cook Strait and around the
beautiful Mana Island Science Reserve. This costs $85 per person.
Children (2-16yrs, half price), infants free. Minimum charge for the
yacht of $420. Maximum of 7 passengers.
Learn to Sail:
A three hour introduction to sailing. Learn the basics of keel boat
sailing and how to traverse the Cook Strait and Marlborough Sounds in
confidence and safety. I take groups of up to six people for $600 per
three hour session (e.g. $100 each for six people).
Team
building:
A five hour hour sailing trip designed to get the whole team working in
unison! I take groups of up to six people for $780 per
session (e.g. $130 each for six people).
Couples cruise:
A three hour return trip out to Mana Island for that special person. It
can include a circumnavigation of Mana Island or anchoring close to the
Island to view the scenery and wildlife from the comfort of the yacht.
Ideal for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion. Weekends and
summer evenings only $295 for 2 people.
Voyages to Mana Island Science Reserve:
This
is a five hour return trip with a landing on Mana Island ($600, maximum
of 9 passengers). Walk around the island's many tracks and see rare
birds, lizards and the Cook Strait giant weta. This costs $105 per
person. Children (6-16yrs, half price), infants free. Minimum charge
for the yacht of $645. Maximum of 9 passengers.
Voyages
from Mana (Wellington) to the Marlborough Sounds:
Not for the faint hearted! Sail across the Cook Strait to the beautiful
Marlborough Sounds. I can transport you anywhere in Queen Charlotte
Sound from Picton northwards for $1000 per trip, for a maximum of six
people. Sail direct from the North Island to Ship Cove (beginning of
the Queen Charlotte track) or Furneaux Lodge for little more
than
the cost of ferry, plus water taxi!
Many
more options are available, including snorkelling, weddings and the
casting of a loved one's ashes. Meals or snacks, rods, tackle and bait
can also be supplied for an additional price. We will tailor to suit
your needs, so please ask us!
